About the Role:
An innovative and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dynamic Design and Technology Teacher to join their high-achieving DT department. The successful candidate will bring creativity and practical knowledge to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and problem-solvers.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach DT across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5
Lead engaging lessons in areas such as Product Design, Textiles, or Food Technology
Ensure a safe and well-maintained workshop/classroom environment
Prepare students for internal and external assessments
Contribute to department planning and extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
QTS and a relevant DT-related degree
Strong classroom and subject knowledge
A creative, adaptable approach to practical teaching
Experience delivering DT in a secondary school setting
