Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to inspire the next generation of designers and makers. The successful Design & Technology Teacher will teach KS3 and KS4 D&T, including product design, resistant materials, and graphic design, encouraging students to develop both practical skills and design thinking.
As the Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons
Manage workshop safety and resources
Lead pupil design projects and support GCSE coursework
Develop links with local businesses and organise enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Design & Technology or related field
Experience with workshop tools, CAD software, and practical teaching
Passion for fostering creativity and problem-solving skills
