Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology teacher looking for your next challenge? Prospero Teaching is working with a respected secondary school in Portsmouth that is seeking a dynamic educator to join their team from September 2025.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to become a permanent member of staff while developing your teaching practice in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
📌 Role Overview:
Location: Portsmouth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (with occasional evening commitments)
Pay Range: £168.29 - £232.56 per day (based on experience)
🔍 Candidate Profile:
We're looking for someone who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Has experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
Possesses recent safeguarding training (or is willing to complete it)
Has the right to work in the UK
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
Can provide two child-related professional references
