Join Our Team as a Design and Technology Teacher in Hull Position: Design and Technology Teacher Location: Hull Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on experience) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time Are you ready to inspire students to explore their creativity and technical skills through design and technology? GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our team in Hull. Role Overview As a DT Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated DT lessons for students. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Organise and lead extracurricular activities and events related to design and technology. Promote health and safety awareness in all practical activities. Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student development. Essential Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent. Early Career Teachers (ECT) are encouraged to apply. Experience teaching Design and Technology lesson. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to inspiring and motivating students. Ability to provide a 10-year career history with references covering the last two years.
