Job Description
We are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to join a high-performing school based in Taunton, Somerset.
DT Teacher required from September on a permanent, full-time basis

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated DT Teacher to join a forward-thinking school with a strong STEM curriculum. The ideal candidate will specialise in Product Design or Resistant Materials, though expertise in other areas such as Engineering or Systems & Control would be welcomed.
The department is exceptionally well-resourced with laser cutters, 3D printers, and CAD/CAM integration. There is an expectation that you will contribute to whole-school enrichment, enterprise projects, and STEM fairs.
Experience and Qualifications
• QTS with specialism in Design Technology
• Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4, with A-Level an advantage
• Confident in delivering practical lessons in a safe and structured environment
• Experience with modern DT tools and software
• Legal right to work in the UK
