Job Description
We are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to work in a supportive and progressive school based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
DT Teacher required from September on a permanent full-time basis
High-performing secondary school with excellent practical facilities
Ideal opportunity for a DT Teacher with a focus on Product Design or Engineering
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic DT Teacher to teach across KS3–KS4 in a well-established and well-equipped school in Swindon. The role is ideal for someone with a background in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. The department is highly collaborative and encourages a problem-solving, hands-on approach to learning.
The school offers modern workshops, CAD/CAM resources, and laser cutters. There is a growing interest in STEM across all year groups, and students regularly participate in competitions and projects beyond the classroom.
Experience and Qualifications
• DT Teacher with a specialism in Product Design or similar
• Strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge
• Experience of delivering engaging, skill-based lessons
• QTS and right to work in the UK
