Design Engineer Remote €75,000 - €85,000 + Continuous Training + Progression + Prestigious Projects + Remote working Are you an experienced Design Engineer with strong EPLAN skills, looking to take the next step in your career? As a Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and development of low voltage switchgear systems, working on a diverse range of projects from concept through to completion. You'll collaborate with cross functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the delivery of high quality, safety compliant electrical designs that meet industry standards. This unique position gives you the opportunity to work remotely whilst also working towards department leadership and senior progression. As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Lead the electrical design and development of low voltage switchgear systems in compliance with industry regulations. * Develop detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications using EPLAN software. * Select, integrate, and ensure the functionality of power and control system components. * Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure systems meet specifications. * Conduct design reviews, optimise designs, and resolve technical issues during testing. The successful Design Engineer should have: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design for low voltage switchgear. * Strong proficiency in EPLAN software and other relevant design tools. * In depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to LV switchgear.
