£37,000 - £43,000 + Bonus + Annual Pay Rises & Benefits
Office-based - Early finish on Fridays
Multiple vacancies available due to growth
We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful engineering business based in Rochdale who are expanding across all departments and seeking multiple Design Engineers to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity to join a company with a fantastic order book, strong sales pipeline, and a track record of year-on-year pay increases. Supplying process plants, systems and equipment to a global customer base, they deliver bespoke engineered solutions and are now looking to strengthen their design team.
The Role:
As a Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of projects from initial concept through to manufacture:
* Developing bespoke process solutions and modifications to existing equipment ranges
* Producing 3D Models, P&IDs, concept layouts, full assembly drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings
* Creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Designing stainless steel fabrications, pipework, vessels, conveyors, mixing and transfer systems, and associated valving
* Working closely with other departments to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and production-ready
We’re looking for Design engineers with:
* Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo or similar)
* Experience in mechanical and process design (pipework, piping systems, fluids, steam, water, conveyors, etc.)
* Good knowledge of process systems and equipment
* Ability to produce design and detail drawings for manufacture
* A proactive, detail-focused approach and a collaborative mindset
