The Opportunity Join a leading engineering consultancy as a Design Engineer, where you’ll take ownership of design deliverables, coordinate with consultants, and ensure projects meet client expectations on time and to the highest quality. We would also welcome applications from candidates in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, utilities, or transportation sectors. This role would suit candidates currently working as Design Coordinator, Project Engineer, Technical Engineer, Design Manager, CAD/BIM Lead, Structural Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Engineering Coordinator, or Technical Project Lead. Your duties and responsibilities will be: Oversee and track design deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines. Manage technical queries and design-related communications, maintaining accurate records. Coordinate design workshops and interface meetings, assigning and following up on actions. Review and monitor design progress reports, updating schedules and reporting to management. Ensure design outputs meet quality standards and align with client specifications.You will have the following qualifications and experience: Strong background in both design and construction processes, ideally on large-scale projects. Proven ability to manage design deliverables and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with BIM processes and digital engineering practices. Knowledge of CDM regulations and Principal Designer duties.
