This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in LV and HV (11kV) connections design to join a major DNO framework.
The role involves carrying out design and costing for connections schemes and power distribution network upgrades, including:
* Analysis and studies of LV and 11kV networks
* Design for cable replacements, underground and overhead line networks
* Design of cable diversions
* Design for power distribution network reinforcement
* Design of LV and HV connections
* Customer liaison
* Ensure designs are in line with project scope and meet OFGEM requirements
Qualfications and Experience:
* Previous experience in HV connections or general HV network design up to 11kV with a DNO, IDNO or ICP
* Understanding of NERS
* Knowledge of DNO and IDNO design standards and scheme approvals
* Knowledge of Grid Code and CDM regulations
* Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
* Driving licence
