Design Engineer – SolidWorks

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Permanent | Day Shift

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer to join a successful engineering business based in Chesterfield.

The Role

Designing sheet metal and structural fabrication products using SolidWorks.

Producing accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings.

Supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

Working closely with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.

Maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience using SolidWorks.

Previous experience designing sheet metal and structural fabrications is essential.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
