In this Monday to Friday, days-based role, you'll work with small groups of learners, sharing your knowledge of mechanical design principles and CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360). You'll help learners develop practical, hands-on skills alongside technical design understanding.
The ideal candidate will be a design engineer who wants to move away from the tools into a role where you are working with the next generation of design engineers.

The Role:
*Full training provided - no teaching experience necessary
*Delivering sessions to small groups of learners in mechanical design and CAD
*Teaching 3D modelling, design for manufacture, technical drawings, and mechanical systems
*Developing lesson plans and schemes of work
*Assessing learners' work in line with awarding body standards
*Completing all relevant training and assessment documentation accurately and on time
The Person:
*Comes from a mechanical design engineering background
*Confident using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar)
*Passionate about supporting and developing others
*Looking to transition into a trainer/instructor role
*Ideally time-served or qualified in engineering (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
