Design Estimator

Thompson AVC are currently recruiting for a Fire and Security Design Estimator to join us in Wolverhampton. We are an established family business providing life safety solutions to a commercial client base

The successful DESIGN / ESTIMATOR will be responsible for:

 Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to establish project scope.

 Design compliant and cost-effective fire and security systems.

 Prepare accurate equipment, material, labour and subcontractor estimates.

 Complete detailed take-offs using estimating software such as Countfire.

 Prepare competitive quotations, tender returns and technical proposals.

Our next Design Estimator will have experience in some of the following:

Fire Alarms and Life Safety, Emergency lighting, Electronic Security, Intruder, CCTV, Data Networking
