As a Design Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping the future of education spaces — collaborating with architects, engineers and project teams to turn design innovation into reality. This is a fast-moving, creative environment where ideas are tested, developed and delivered with precision.
About the Role
You’ll manage the full design process, from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of coordination, compliance and quality. As Design Manager, you’ll act as the link between design, manufacture and on-site delivery — integrating architecture, structure and MEP design within a fully industrialised construction environment.
You’ll work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver sustainable, future-ready schools, using data, BIM and AI tools to optimise design performance and efficiency. This is a hands-on Design Manager role for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving results through collaboration and smart thinking.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the design process from inception to completion

Manage design deliverables, approvals and documentation

Support project bids and tenders with creative technical input

Oversee integration of offsite design with manufacturing and site activities

Engage with clients and stakeholders to maintain clear design intent

Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of innovation and learning
About You

Proven experience as a Design Manager within construction, modular, or MMC projects
*
Strong BIM, Revit and digital design capability
*
Excellent coordination, leadership and communication skills
*
A collaborative mindset and passion for smarter, sustainable design
