Design Manager

Liverpool office - 4 days in the office

Leading ICP on a growth journey, working across renewable energy projects.

Up to £85,000 + benefits

About the Role:

The role is a varied position with different responsibilities. Your main role will be to manage both a team and high voltage designs for large scale renewable enegry projects.

The main responsibilites are

Working on technical responsibilites across electrical, protection and control and civil designs.
Working on designs and connections up to and including 132kV.
Liaising directly with DNOs and TSOs for designs and connections.
Managing DNO submissions.
Working closley with various stakehodlers, both internal and external for techncial submissions and queries.
Ensure designs are compliant with relevant standards, as well as staying up to date with legislations. 
Managing a team of engineers.
About you:

Ideally we are looking for somebody with strong knowledge of protection and control works. You'd ideally have experience from within an ICP also, so you're familiar with processes.

You'll need to be ambitious, motivated and personable.
