Design Manager – Timber Frame
Location: Cornwall
Full-Time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Manager to join a leading timber frame contractor. You’ll oversee the design process from concept to fabrication, ensuring accurate, buildable solutions for residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate the in-house design team and external consultants
* Oversee design from planning through to manufacture and site installation
* Ensure compliance with structural requirements and building regulations
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and production teams
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in timber frame/off-site construction design
* Strong leadership and project coordination skills
* Proficiency in relevant CAD and design software
* Understanding of UK building regulations and timber construction methods
