Design Manager - Civils
Location - Portsmouth
Salary - £50,000 / £70,000 plus package, DoE.
Copello are working with a leading Maritime company who are looking for a Civils Design Manager to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex marine infrastructure projects.
What you’ll do:
* Lead the design of marine and waterfront assets including harbour walls, docks, locks, piling systems, and reinforced concrete structures.
* Oversee multidisciplinary design work covering utilities, pavements, and supporting infrastructure.
* Manage projects through all phases of the engineering lifecycle, ensuring delivery to scope, cost, and schedule.
* Apply knowledge of UK regulations, safety legislation, and civil design standards to ensure compliance.
* Act as the primary interface with clients, providing technical leadership and clear communication.
What you’ll bring:
* Significant experience in marine or coastal civil engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, design codes, and safety frameworks.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
