Job Description
Design Manager - MEP
We are recruiting an MEP Design Manager for a 3-month contract to support a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia. This role requires someone who can take ownership of MEP design delivery, coordinate multiple interfaces and ensure all technical documentation progresses to programme.
You will be responsible for managing MEP design output, leading design coordination and overseeing the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA), High Voltage and Protection & Control design packages. The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams, suppliers, consultants and the client, ensuring that all design stages meet standards and approval requirements.
Key experience required
MEP or MEICA design management background
Experience managing and reviewing multidisciplinary design deliverables
Ability to integrate MEICA, HV and Protection & Control designs into a coordinated solution
Strong familiarity with design reviews, approvals, TQs and documentation flow
Experience working with BIM/CAD and design control systems
Able to challenge quality and ensure output meets specification and contract requirements
Clear communication with confidence leading coordination and technical discussionsThis role suits someone delivery focused, able to step in quickly and confident managing and driving technical design packages within a live environment.
