Architectural Design Manager (Pre-Construction)
Location: Greater Dublin Area
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000
About the Role
Our client, a leading residential developer, is hiring a Design Manager focused on pre-construction stages of new housing developments. This is your chance to shape early design strategy and ensure high standards across a range of exciting projects.
What You'll Do
Manage early design reviews: planning, technical, and internal standards
Support the central library of design standards and guidance docs
Coordinate with architectural, interior, and landscape design teams
Review planning layouts for technical and regulatory compliance
Track progress, actions, and stakeholder input in early project stages
Assist with drawings for internal/external use
Ensure site plans align with internal design expectations
Contribute to logistics and site setup planning
Track and maintain pre-construction design documentation
What You'll Need
Degree in Architecture, Architectural Tech, Project Mgmt or Engineering
5+ years' experience in design management (residential preferred)
Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning
Experience managing design documentation or standards libraries
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
Detail-driven with an innovative mindset
Excellent communication (written & verbal)
Full driver's licence and access to transport
