Job Description
We're looking for a Design Structures Approver to join a fast-paced engineering team supporting wing component delivery. This role involves providing high-quality design support to manufacturing operations, ensuring product integrity, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and approve design solutions for structural modifications and design queries.
Ensure compliance with design, airworthiness, and safety standards.
Act as a design approval signatory with recognised industry delegation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
Mentor engineering team members and support skills development.
Drive process improvements and lessons learned initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including Configuration Management, Chief Engineers, and Programme Teams.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in structural design engineering.
Recognised design signatory status (Design Approval Delegation).
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Ability to simplify complex technical issues and communicate effectively.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.Working Arrangements:
Role based in Broughton (preferred) or Filton.
