Location: Essex
Salary: £35,000 (Depending on experience)
Job Description
We’re looking for a Design Technician to support the design and documentation of bespoke acoustic and vibration control systems. You’ll create technical drawings, 3D models, and site installation packs while working closely with engineers and project teams. This is an office-based role with occasional site visits.
Job Responsibilities
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D fabrication models
• Prepare site installation documentation and packs
• Support project teams with O&M manuals and as-built drawings
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
Skills Required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar 2D CAD software)
• Intermediate SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D software)
• HNC, HND or Degree in Engineering discipline
• Strong MS Office skills
• Full UK driving licence
• (Preferred) Sheet metal fabrication experience
