Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a creative and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of innovators?
GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Design Technology Teacher to join schools in Sheffield (S6). This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who want to deliver engaging lessons and foster practical skills in students.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will inspire and equip students with practical skills and creative thinking necessary for design and technology subjects.
Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
Plan and deliver stimulating Design Technology lessons across Key Stages.
Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills development.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
Requirements for Design Technology Teacher:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Recent experience teaching Design Technology in UK schools is preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
