An exciting opportunity has opened at a progressive and highly regarded secondary school in Taunton for a Design & Technology ECT. The school is seeking a creative and ambitious teacher to join their team from September 2025. Whether your specialism is Product Design, Resistant Materials, Textiles, or Systems & Control, your enthusiasm will be welcomed.

The DT Department

What You’ll Do

Teach DT across KS3 and KS4 with scope to specialise

Prepare practical resources and lead hands-on lessons
*
Foster creativity, resilience, and problem-solving in your students
*
Attend DT competitions and contribute to clubs and STEM events
*
Receive continuous support through mentoring, CPD, and peer collaboration
Who You Are
*
Qualified (or about to qualify) DT teacher with QTS
*
Passionate about hands-on learning and cross-curricular design thinking
*
