We are seeking a talented Design & Technology Teacher with a strong background in 3D Design, Ceramics and Resistant Materials to join a community-driven Secondary School in Coventry. The role involves teaching GCSE-level classes and supporting students in developing practical skills, creative thinking and technical understanding.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Deliver dynamic, high-quality 3D Designs lessons to KS4 students
* Guide students through practical project work, ensuring high standards of health & safety
* Support students in producing high-quality coursework
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help every learner succeed
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
* Support the school’s values through positive relationships, respect and a commitment to student wellbeing
* Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
* Proven experience teaching Design Technology and 3D Design at secondary level following the National Curriculum
* Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
* Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child Workforce listed)
* Teaching reference checks covering the last 2 years
