DT Teacher: Well-regarded School - Hounslow's Creative Design Hub
Our well-regarded school in Hounslow is actively seeking a highly creative and skilled DT Teacher to become a central part of our thriving Design Technology department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a DT Teacher to inspire students to think creatively, solve practical problems, and bring their ideas to life, teaching DT across all key stages from Year 7 to A-Level. We are looking for a DT Teacher with expertise in areas such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Graphics, who is passionate about nurturing design skills and fostering innovation in every DT project. Your vision as a DT Teacher will shape the future designers within our school through the subject of DT.
Location: Hounslow Role: DT Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Excellent, reflecting Inner London pay scales.
The Ideal DT Teacher Candidate:
The successful DT Teacher will hold QTS and a relevant degree in Design Technology or a related field. We require a DT Teacher with proven experience in teaching DT to secondary students, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level DT examinations. An engaging and practical teaching style is essential for this DT Teacher role, alongside excellent workshop management skills and a strong commitment to health and safety in DT environments. We are seeking a collaborative DT Teacher who is eager to contribute to curriculum development, share best practice with colleagues, and participate in extracurricular DT initiatives. This DT Teacher will be a vital part of our DT team.
