We are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to work within an innovative and high-performing school based in Reading.

An ambitious and highly respected secondary school in Reading is seeking a talented Design Technology Teacher to join its progressive DT department in September 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach DT across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and specialism.
The department offers a rich curriculum that includes Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, and Food Technology. Students benefit from access to excellent facilities including laser cutters, 3D printers, CAD/CAM suites, and fully equipped workshops. Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified DT Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 DT; KS5 an advantage
• Expertise in at least one of the following: Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Textiles
• Excellent subject knowledge and workshop safety awareness
• A team player who brings enthusiasm and initiative
• Right to work in the UK
