Job Description

At Pasquill, we are looking for a Designer to work in our Bodmin team, helping to deliver high-quality engineered timber solutions, outstanding customer service, and efficient project turnaround. This role will be part of our collaborative and fast-paced Design team, where you'll take ownership of projects from initial quote through to final design. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams, making a real impact on customer experience by delivering accurate designs quickly and efficiently. Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of engineered timber products, specialising in roof trusses, floor joists, and spandrel panels. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, Pasquill supports a wide range of customers from small builders to large regional housebuilders. This role is office-based in Bodmin working 8.00am-5.00pm Monday - Friday. What we're looking for: Experience working in a construction industry with a focus on roof truss design and Posi-Joist design Working knowledge of PAMIR design software (essential) Ability to communicate confidently with customers and build strong relationships Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects Relevant design experienceWhat you will be doing: Producing accurate quotes and MiTek Pamir Designs for roof trusses and floor joists from enquiry through to final design Managing customer enquiries and maintaining regular communication throughout the design process Working closely with the sales and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure designs meet customer requirements Supporting improvements in turnaround time and overall customer experienceIs Saint-Gobain an inclusive employer?
