Designer / Aluminium Glazing & Facade Systems
Product Knowledge: Aluminium Windows, Doors & Curtain Wall / Structual Glazing
Based: Derby
Salary: £30k - £45k DOE
The Company
A successful building envelope sub-contractor based in the Midlands area is currently looking for an experienced Designer to join their expanding team.
The Company is a forward thinking and energetic business looking to grow their share of the market within the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Working in a busy Design office supporting the Commercial team and a range of customers.
* Advising on technical design and installation issues for Glazing Systems.
* Overseeing design on multiple projects.
* Producing and understanding project and installation drawings.
* Attending / hosting technical meetings when required
Experience Required:
* The candidate will ideally have at least 5 years' experience as a Designer within Aluminium Glazing Systems & Facade using AutoCAD and associated design software.
* Experience of working with a range of Aluminium Glazing systems and Structual Glass would be advantageous.
* Be enthusiastic and career driven with a professional attitude to work and a good eye for detail.
* Experience of planning, organising, managing and prioritising own workload.
