📍 Location: Chester Business Park, Chester (Hybrid)

What You'll Do:

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating activities across hardware and software products as we manage our EOL workstations. Your responsibilities will include:

Tracking & Organizing: Assist in the management of remediation efforts and support various stages of the EOL process.
Collaborating: Work closely with Project Managers to provide general support and ensure smooth project execution.
Improving Processes: Contribute ideas for process enhancements and explore automation opportunities for efficiency gains. 

Key Responsibilities:

Analytical Problem-Solving:

- Analyze data and workflows to identify patterns and root causes.

- Break down vague problems into actionable steps for resolution. 🔍

Process Building

- Map current processes and design better ones.

- Create clear, structured procedures from messy information. 🗂️

Project-Focused:

- Own small workstreams, manage tasks, and tackle blockers effectively.

- Maintain excellent documentation and organization of evidence. 📋

Stakeholder Interaction:

- Confidently engage with diverse teams to gather information and clarify needs.

- Communicate effectively to foster collaboration without escalating issues. 🤝

What We're Looking For:

Technical Awareness: A basic understanding of the workstation lifecycle, EOL/EOS concepts, and compatibility issues. Comfort in discussing technical constraints with engineering teams is a plus.
