Development & Engagement Administration Assistant
£15.40 per hour

Office Based, Manchester City Centre
Overall job purpose:
To provide administrative and operational support to the Development function, helping to strengthen the clients relationships with alumni, donors, and other key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Support senior fundraising staff with admin tasks and meeting coordination
Organise visits for alumni, donors, and prospective donors
Manage donor-related enquiries and shared email accounts
Assist with proofreading and formatting proposals and reports
Research and compile information for fundraising materials
Maintain accurate records in Raiser’s Edge database
Process expenses and provide financial admin support
Use internal systems for procurement and travel arrangements
Cover divisional reception and alumni email during absences
Perform other duties as required by the senior management team
Candidate requirements:
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of organisation and time management
Experience servicing committees and minute-taking
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
Team player with a customer-focused approach
Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
Knowledge of fundraising and alumni relations desirable
Experience with Raiser’s Edge, Oracle Financials, or Campus Solutions
