DevOps Engineer – AWS | Public Sector | SC & NPPV Cleared
Location: Hybrid – weekly travel to client site near Southampton
Clearance: SC & NPPV active clearance required
Rate: Dependent on experience (Inside IR35)
Start: November
Duration: Initial 6 months, likely extension
SR2 is working with a consultancy partner to scale a secure DevOps capability for a public sector programme. We're looking for an AWS-focused DevOps Engineer with active SC and NPPV clearance who can support modern cloud infrastructure and automation best practices.
Key requirements:
AWS cloud expertise across core services
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ideally)
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
Strong scripting skills
Containerisation (Docker, ECS, EKS, etc.)
Experience working in secure/public sector environmentsThis is a hands-on role in a secure, fast-moving programme – ideal for someone confident delivering in environments with high compliance and operational maturity.'
