DevOps Engineer
Salary: 50 -60k
Location: Birmingham – Hybrid
Khuda Technology has partnered with an international Managed Service Provider to find a talented DevOps Engineer with experience in Azure cloud services. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in DevOps practices, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
* Implementation, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
* Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments, ensuring scalable and reliable environments.
* Develop and maintain automation playbooks using Ansible; experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform is highly desirable.
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery processes.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to align cloud strategies with business goals, following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.
* Maintain and administer Azure DevOps Pipelines and manage repositories in GitHub.
* Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices to support ongoing operations and future scalability.
* Continuously evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Skills
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
* Azure Fundamentals certification is required; Azure DevOps certification is preferred.
* Proficiency in Terraform, particularly with AZ-TFmod experience.
* Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation, with a preference for experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform.
* Familiarity with CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices, especially within Azure DevOps environments.
* Working knowledge of GitHub and experience managing repositories.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a challenging environment.
* Good documentation skills to ensure clarity and consistency in infrastructure and process documentation.
