Job Description
We are looking for a Diabetes Nurse to join a specialist community provider in Cambridge. This Diabetes Nurse position comes with a competitive salary of up to £44,000 plus an annual salary bonus, sociable working hours, a company car and more excellent benefits.

In this Diabetes Nurse position you will be joining a highly-respected primary care provider, who work closely with GP practices in the community. With excellent support for further training and development, you will be joining a highly trained team that has both your personal and professional development at heart.
As a Diabetes Nurse, you will:
Work shifts of Mon – Fri / 9am – 5pm
Conduct patient audits and deliver specialist clinics within a GP practice
Deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes in line with Diabetes guidelines
Identify and optimise care for patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes
Conduct point of care testing and refer for specialist insulin treatment as needed
Provide education, support, and advice to patients with Type 2 Diabetes
To apply for this position you will need to be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN, along with a full UK Driving licence. You will also have a minimum of 3 years' managing diabetes in a primary care setting and a diploma in improving diabetes care.
