Job Description

Our client, a reputable family-owned service centre located in Poole, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is a premier opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in vehicle diagnostics and heavy mechanics.
Benefits:
  * Up to £45,000 basic salary depending on experience
  * Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  * Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostic assessments and identify faults accurately
  * Perform complex engine dismantling, rebuilds, and heavy mechanical repairs
  * Carry out gearbox, engine work, and engine assessments for diagnostic purposes
  * Utilise modern diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
  * Assist in ongoing technical development within the workshop
  * Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  * Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  * Strong skills in engine dismantling and diagnostic procedures
  * Experience with engine repairs and other heavy mechanics
  * Ability to work independently and within a team
  * Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
  * Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance NVQ or equivalent qualification
