We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership in Birmingham for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  * Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
  * Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and warranty repairs to manufacturer standards
  * Utilising advanced diagnostic equipment to identify intermittent and complex issues
  * Supporting and mentoring junior technicians within the workshop team
  * Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to high quality standards
  * Working on a variety of vehicle makes, including hybrid and electric models
  * Maintaining safety and compliance standards while delivering excellent customer service
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  * Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  * Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician, preferably within a franchised or professional workshop environment
  * Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  * Proficiency in using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  * Demonstrable fault-finding capability in complex systems
  * Full UK driving licence
  * Positive attitude and ability to mentor others
