Job Title: Diary Coordinator Location: South East Region – Working from home Salary: DOE Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday Environmental Essentials are a well-established asbestos company with 6 offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first class, quality focused service to a number of very high-profile clients. We are looking for a Diary Coordinator to join our South East team, To coordinate and manage operational diaries, client accounts, and support services across the South East region. This role ensures effective scheduling, client satisfaction, and smooth operational delivery through proactive planning and responsive problem-solving. The Job Role * Schedule and forecast work for around 30 staff, and associated reporting. * Allocate daily jobs and brief staff on schedule changes and requirements. * Respond to site staff queries and resolve diary issues promptly. * Liaise with Project Managers to coordinate work schedules and ensure resource availability. * Order site access equipment as required. * Manage holiday requests and staff appointments, ensuring adequate cover for operational needs. * Organise reactive and “out-of-hours” jobs (received daily) into the diary during standard working hours to ensure coverage within agreed service level agreements. * Establish and manage reinspection programmes for the region. * Provide general project assistance to Project Managers. * Receive work requests via phone, email, and portal from engineers. * Liaise with regional teams to coordinate sample bookings within the diary. * Create projects and arrange customer appointments. * Support surveyors on-site by addressing operational questions or resolving issues. * Maintain regular communication and updates with the client. * Upload reports to various portals depending on the client, specifying asbestos types for removal arrangements. * Manage emails, job setup, and quoting. About You * Strong organisational and multitasking skills. * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). * Experience in operational scheduling and diary management. * Ability to handle reactive workloads in a high-pressure environment. * Knowledge of asbestos industry operations is desirable but not essential.
