Diesel Engine Fitter – Swindon (Ongoing Role)

Join a leading international business based in Swindon with a large volume of ongoing work and state-of-the-art workshop facilities where all tools are provided. What We Offer
* Competitive salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (approx. £673 - £769 per week, based on 40 hours)
* Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm, 40 hours per week
* Modern workshop with all tools and equipment provided

Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and service diesel engines and related components
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools
* Dismantle, repair, and fit engine components accurately
* Replace faulty parts and ensure correct installation
* Document all maintenance and repair work clearly
* Comply with all health and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge of diesel engine systems
* Proficient with specialised tools and equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Effective team player with clear communication skills
