Job Title: Digital Applications Assistant
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
Location: Dukinfield (on-site)

About the Company
You’ll join an engineering/manufacturing business investing in new systems and smarter ways of working. The focus is clear—use technology to reduce manual effort, improve reporting, and support production and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role
You’ll sit between IT, Engineering and Manufacturing/Production. You’ll help roll out systems, improve how data is used, and support projects that automate day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

  * Support the rollout of new digital systems across the business

  * Administer systems and improve reporting outputs

  * Work with the Systems Improvement Engineer on Industry 4.0 projects, including AI use cases

  * Help move ideas from proof of concept through to full deployment

  * Partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager to cost and deliver savings

  * Work with central IT to ensure secure and compliant deployment

  * Create clear documentation and train users on new processes

Key Requirements

  * Experience working with Microsoft technologies or relevant certifications

  * Understanding of Cyber Essentials Plus requirements

  * Comfortable working across teams in both office and manufacturing environments

  * Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

  * Clear communicator who can explain systems to non-technical users
