 Newcastle College, in partnership with The Supply Register, is seeking a motivated and learner-focused Lecturer in Digital Arts to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
 About the role:
 This role involves planning and delivering inclusive, high-quality lessons in digital arts, helping learners build creative and technical skills using contemporary tools and processes. You’ll provide both academic and pastoral support, guiding learners through their practical and theoretical development while contributing to curriculum design that reflects industry trends.
 Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons in Digital Arts.
Provide academic guidance, tutorials, and pastoral support to learners.
Develop inclusive learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enrich the learner experience.
Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards.
✅ What we’re looking for:
Strong industry experience in Graphics, Illustration, or Animation.
Relevant subject qualification (e.g., degree or equivalent).
Recognised teaching qualification.
Level 2 English and Maths (e.g., GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in FE or HE.
Confidence using digital tools to enhance learning.
Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and professional development.
