Digital Marketing Research and Data Executive – Woking, Surrey / WFH

£26,000 - £34,000 DOE plus benefits

We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Research and Data Executive to join a growing online marketing company who work with large, well-known brands and global companies. This is a full-time permanent role and will be offered on both a hybrid and remote basis depending on experience.

You will report into the Head of Insight and join a delivery team of 14 people providing insight and digital marketing services to their clients. The role centres around data interpretation, investigation, and generating meaningful insights for clients. You will be gathering data, interrogating the data, investigate anomalies or trends, identifying what is genuinely interesting or actionable and reporting all of this to clients to help them progress their marketing and AI activity.

The role is an exciting opportunity to analyse and bring data to life for their clients. The focus is on user activity and marketing activity on platforms such as Google Analytics and AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini. (They are all about actionable insight - less on large volume data cleaning).

As well as the exciting marketing data work you will do, you will also have the chance to play a key role in their new AI data strategy service. This is pivotal to the company’s future vision, and you will have the chance to break new ground with AI analytics and audit services. You will gain exposure across a wide field of digital marketing and develop new skills and knowledge. They invest heavily in training and the opportunity to increase your expertise and progress your career are substantial.

Knowledge Required

  * A minimum of 24 months experience working in research, analytics, or a numerical based marketing role.

  * You will need to be highly numerate and have excellent Excel (or equivalent) skills.

  * Experience using Google Analytics, Big Query or LookerStudio would be absolutely ideal.

  * Wider experience and understanding of digital marketing such as SEO, PPC or web site builds would be a benefit though they will train in these areas.

  * Working in an agency environment or a role where you manage multiple projects and tasks will also be of benefit.
