DIGITAL PRINT OPERATOR / DEPARTMENT LEAD
Circa£40K
Hours: Day Shifts 9am-6pm (with the flexibility to adapt as required)
My client is a leading Print manufacturer, with an impressive plant list covering Printing, Finishing, Laminating and Folding in-house!
They are now looking for an experienced Digital Print Operator and Department Leader, with extensive knowledge in the digital print field. The ideal candidate will have experience with HP Indigo and Canon IX machines.
This role would ideally be suited to someone that's looking for a long term position. It's a diverse role that requires full commitment, the candidate needs the desire for a career path, with many future opportunities. My client is looking for someone with the relevant experience and the drive to further enhance the department's performance.
As an industry leader, they need someone who can maintain and continue to build upon our current momentum.
Role / Responsibilities:
A mixture of machine operation, shift management, stock management and production control
Responsible for the day to day operations of the digital department.
While they will take a primary role, several others are involved in overseeing this area, so there will be additional points of contact for support and reporting as needed
The role involves direct coordination of the department's daily activities, with a focus on maintaining productivity and efficiency
Machine operation, shift management, stock control, and overall production oversight
Have experience on HP Indigo and Canon IX machines
Be able to cover night shifts, if necessary, during holiday periods
Someone who can maintain and continue to build upon our current momentum
