A new opportunity has arisen for a Digital Transformation Project Lead to support the rollout of digitalisation initiatives within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. The role focuses on improving efficiency, modernising processes, and embedding innovative digital tools across key production and operational areas.
The Role
As a Digital Transformation Project Lead, you'll manage and deliver digital projects that enhance capability and performance across the plant. Working with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and IT, you'll identify improvement opportunities, deploy new systems, and ensure alignment with the site's wider digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of digital transformation projects across multiple production areas.
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to design and implement new digital tools and processes.
Use data analytics and visualisation to drive efficiency and inform decision-making.
Manage project plans, budgets, risks, and governance activities.
Support the rollout of new digital systems and the decommissioning of legacy tools.
Contribute to achieving annual Digitalisation Route Map milestones.
About You
Essential
Strong background in project or programme management within engineering or manufacturing.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience with data analytics or data visualisation tools.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and data flow in operational environments.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
Desirable
Experience with Skywise, Power BI, or Google Workspace.
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Apps Script for automation.
Understanding of AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or similar digital technologies.
