About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial healthcare leader to head up our newly formed Clinical Insourcing Division. As Director of Clinical Insourcing, you will be given the autonomy and strategic authority to build your own team, shape its culture, and drive the division’s performance. This is ideal for someone with a track record of leadership and delivery who is ready to create their own legacy in the clinical insourcing space.
You’ll lead strategy, execution, and growth of insourcing services to support NHS Trusts in meeting elective recovery targets, mobilising high-performing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in service delivery, all while fostering a culture of excellence that reflects your leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the growth strategy for the clinical insourcing division.
• Identify high-demand NHS services (e.g. endoscopy, surgery, diagnostics).
• Build and lead your own operational and clinical support team, instilling a high-performance, values-driven culture.

• Oversee the mobilisation and performance of clinical teams and service delivery.
• Ensure operational and clinical compliance with NHS, CQC, and professional standards.
• Lead workforce planning, clinician engagement, and flexible bank management.
• Monitor divisional budgets, implement cost models, and manage commissioner reporting.
Candidate Profile
• Senior leadership experience within multidisciplinary healthcare services.
• Background in elective recovery, clinical insourcing, or outsourced secondary care.
• Strong knowledge of NHS frameworks and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead NHS partnerships and high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of clinical governance, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Proven success in contract management, service mobilisation, and delivering KPIs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build, shape, and scale a new division.

• Commission and profit-share incentives
• Performance milestone rewards and progressive benefits
• Long-term growth and equity opportunity
• Private healthcare and wellbeing package
• CPD/coaching allowance
