Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, visionary and dynamic Nursing Director to lead our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (MHLD) services.
Reporting directly to the Director of MHLD, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, delivery and continuous improvement of nursing services across these sectors.
As Nursing Director for MHLD, you will provide professional leadership to our nursing workforce, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and compassion. You will play a key role in transforming services, shaping clinical strategy and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop teams to deliver outstanding care across MHLD services.
Drive service transformation aligned with clinical best practices and NHS Value.
Provide expert nursing leadership at strategic level, influencing service delivery and operational planning.
Ensure robust clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate at board and team level to influence strategic and financial planning.
About you
Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration.
Significant senior leadership experience in Mental Health and or learning disability services
Proven track record in driving service improvements and delivering measurable outcomes.
