Job Description

Dispatch Administrator 
 
Location: Dartford 
Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00 
Rate: £27,539.20-£30k depending on experience 
Contract: Permanent 
 
The Role 
 
We are looking for a Dispatch Administrator to join our client as part of their dynamic team; to coordinate and manage international road freight shipments across import and export operations. 
You'll ensure shipments are handled efficiently, meet all compliance requirements, and deliver excellent service to customers. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
· Plan, book, and monitor international shipments from start to finish 
· Coordinate collections and deliveries with internal teams and external partners 
· Prepare and process freight documentation (CMR, Bills of Lading, customs paperwork) 
· Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide customer updates 
· Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs, and EU regulations 
· Manage PODs, shipment data, and support invoicing and cost control 
· Arrange UK-EU movements, including GMRs and crossings 
About You 
· Experience in international road freight (import/export) 
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills 
· Good knowledge of freight documentation and customs processes 
· High attention to detail and accuracy 
· Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach 
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
