About the Dispatch Coordinator Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily logistics operations, warehouse tasks, including running shipping reports, scheduling shipments, and ensuring smooth handling of goods in and out of the facility.
Key Responsibilities of the Dispatch Coordinator
Warehouse tasks - picking and packing
Run daily shipping reports and schedule customer shipments.
Manage goods in, including booking all stock items onto computer systems
Clear customers orders through customs and address customer inquiries promptly
Book customer collections using a range of carriers
Pick and pack items accurately for dispatch. Handle customer returns efficiently
Replenish stock on the assembly shop floor
Communicate with customers via email, providing timely and professional responses
Utilize spreadsheets for tracking and reporting logistics data.Qualifications and Skills of the Dispatch Coordinator
Experience in despatch, logistics, or a related field
Proficient in using computer systems for booking and tracking inventory
Familiarity with customs procedures and documentation.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
