Dispatch Officer required. Our client based in Newmarket is looking for an experienced Dispatch Office to join their team. You will be working in a fast paced varied role, within a great company that looks after their staff. The job will be based out of their warehouse in Newmarket. They are offering a competitive salary of £26000.
Our client is a local business with a great team! This role will over variety, responsibility and growth within the role.
As the Dispatch Officer you will be responsible for:
* Plan and dispatch Engineers to various locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, clients, and team members to provide updates, instructions, and resolve any issues.
* Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Track the status and location of Engineers, to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and courteous manner.
To be successful in the role of Dispatch Officer your will:
* Have experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Experience working with Microsoft office ideally Word and Excel
