Job Title: Dispatch Operative
Location: Alton
Salary: £28,000 £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-driven Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the business, managing daily logistics operations, and supporting both internal teams and customers with accurate and timely information.
Key Responsibilities
- Run daily shipping reports and schedule customer shipments.
- Manage all goods-in, including booking stock items onto internal systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
- Replenish stock on the assembly shop floor as required.
- Maintain spreadsheets and internal logs for tracking shipments, stock, and logistics performance.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, despatch, or a similar operational role.
- Confident using computer systems for booking, tracking, and stock management.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent with spreadsheets and basic data reporting.
