Job Description
What we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated team player to join our dispatch team. You will be expected to work in a fast paced environment picking, packing, scanning, loading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck. Our dispatch cold store runs at 12 degrees
The Position
* Pick all customer orders and then load these orders to the customer
* Navigate the company Linkfresh system and use the company hand scanners
* Adhere to the correct stock rotation of product when collating customer order
* Creating customer pallet labels from sales orders
* Ordering transport for the relevant customer order
* Picking orders safely and accurately. (This will involve lifting heavy trays)
* Scanning collated pallets onto the customer trailer
* Generating the relevant paperwork for the load dispatched
* Liaise with the packing department to ascertain product availability
* Carry out safety checks when taking the controls of a company forklift ensuring you have completed the vehicle checks and reported any faults
* Carry out all customer stock counts
The perfect candidate should have
* Team player but should also be able to work alone without supervision when required
* Ability to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand held device
* Ability to follow procedures and work to strict deadlines with a flexible approach
* Good communication and organisation skills
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
* Hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence
* Hold a valid ride on pallet truck licence
