Job Description
Dispatch Operative, £13.00ph, 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, in the Forest of Dean, immediate start available for the right candidate, free on site parking, brand-new facilities.
Are you reliable, hands-on, and ready to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We’re looking for a Dispatch Operative to join our clients team in the Forest of Dean.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately packed, labelled, and dispatched on time. This is a busy and active role that involves regular lifting of boxes with some weight, so physical fitness and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Completing all dispatch paperwork, labels, and delivery notes accurately.
Loading and unloading products and packaging materials.
Maintaining stock rotation and supporting general warehouse duties (sweeping, tidying, manual handling).
Upholding health & safety standards at all times.
Adapting to varying workloads – especially at the start of the week when order volumes are higher.About You:
Physically fit and comfortable with lifting boxes up to 15kg.
Able to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment.
Hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in a job well done.
Flexible with working hours as shifts may vary with demand.
Aware of health and safety procedures.
Comfortable working with animal food products.What’s On Offer:
£13.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.
Ongoing temporary work with the potential for a permanent contract.
Full training and site induction provided.
Weekly pay every Friday + paid annual leave (PAYE).
